Presenting a Seminar Based on their Newly Released Book:

Agility Start to Finish (Alpine 2008)

December 13 and 14th, 2008

Location: Albany Obedience Club, Wemple Road, Glenmont, NY

Cost: $150 for the 2 days, $75 for 1 day

This seminar is for anyone just starting out in agility or the current agility competitor looking for some new ways to improve skills. The seminar will cover a wide variety of topics including unique ways to teach the obstacles, multiple methods of teaching contacts and simple ways to direct your dog accurately  around a course whether or not you can run. Understanding the mental strategy of running an agility course, finding a method that fits your dog, creating independent weave poles and contacts and much more will be included.

Diane L. Bauman is an internationally renowned all breed trainer and bestselling author. She was first known for her obedience competition book, Beyond Basic Dog Training, and for her accomplishments in obedience competition with a variety of breeds. Diane then turned to agility and has become one of today?s  most successful professionals in agility. She received the third MACH of any breed in the history of agility with a Cocker Spaniel. This team went on to be a member of the AKC World Agility Team in 1998, 1999, and 2000, winning gold and silver medals. Diane also had the first AKC Master Agility Excellent (MX, MXJ) Afghan in the history of the breed. She is now competes with Border Collies and Afghan Hounds and also enjoys working with lesser known breeds. She has taught hundreds of successful students in agility and obedience.


Jessica Ajoux is an official USDAA judge and an experienced trainer, competitor and instructor of agility. Jessica has trained a variety of breeds and has competed with All-Americans, Border Collies and Cocker Spaniels. She has achieved a MACH 3 and participated in National events.

-This is not a working seminar. Dogs will be invited to participate in demonstrating techniques and dogs with problems will be examined. Many dogs  will get to work but it is not run like a class

-Dogs are crated when not working. No ex pens please.

-Snacks and beverages will be supplied. Lunch provided.

-Will send out directions to AOC and hotel information when I receive your registration form.

-There will be no refunds after November 21st. Registration fees will not be cashed until after the seminar.
